NEW YEARS EVE PARTY - Myles of Beans Rainshadow displays a high degree of integrity, professionalism, responsibility, and ambition. They are one of the best bands we have had the pleasure of hosting at Myles of Beans. Rainshadow’s talent is not only evident in their music but also in the energy they communicate to the crowd. Rainshadow not only brings people in once, they have people return again and again to enjoy their eclectic variety of music. CIBC- Run for the Cure 2005 I am writing this letter on behalf of the band, Rainshadow. I first met one of their band members, Robert Stewart, in the summer of 2004, when I was volunteering with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in conjunction with CIBC Run for the Cure, which took place on Sunday, October 3, 2004 in Vancouver, BC. As a member of the Route Planning Sub-Committee, I was charged with the task of finding musical talent that was willing to come out on a Sunday (and potentially very rainy) morning to entertain thousands of runners as they made their way around the five kilometer route in downtown Vancouver. From the onset, Robert showed great interest at the opportunity to make an appearance at the run, and quickly, Rainshadow agreed to come on board and support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation by sharing the gift of great music. During the planning period, Robert exhibited exceptional professionalism and great managerial skill ensuring that the commitment he made on behalf of the band could be carried out smoothly. Robert proved to be a clear communicator, and planned for every thinkable situation that could arise on event day. Through his dedicated, organized, and professional approach I was able to meet all of the bands needs, technical and otherwise and event morning was smooth sailing. On the day of the event, Rainshadow ‘showed-up’, with their instruments in hand and their heart on their sleeve Rainshadow wowed runners with their exceptional musical talent – fun, familiar, and exciting – and wowed organizers, with their musical energy and willingness lend a hand and help keep loose ends organized and flowing smoothly. Onstage, Rainshadow had a great energy and provided a brand of music which was exciting and fun. They played a wide range of music, while incorporating familiar elements that allowed the large and diverse audience to engage with, and identify with the band and the music. It is with great pleasure that I recommend Rainshadow, especially for the wonderful and warm musical talent, as well as the positive spirit with which they play that music and the positive interaction they share with those around them. | Greekfest This is a letter of recommendation for the band “Rainshadow”. Rainshadow has been a part of our live entertainment during our annual 10 day Greek Community of East Vancouver Summer festival (for more information please visit www. greeksummerfest.com ). What I love about them in particular is that all band members exude a phenomenal attitude towards there music and willdo what it takes in making the festival attendees get up and dance and clap etc. They have a tremendous music library to choose from including their very own originals.
